Since its humble
beginnings in 2001, Schoolguide Magazine has evolved to
feature profiles of Colleges and Universities situated in the
sixteen cities of Metro Manila. The magazine highlights information
about Metro Manila schools such as history, core values, programs
being offered, admission info (tuition, entrance exam requirements
entrance exam dates, enrollment requirements and dates, etc.),
scholarships and grants, awards and citations, outstanding alumni,
school officials, among others.

Other than information about higher
education institutions in Metro Manila, Schoolguide publishes
updates on Accreditation status of colleges and universities, Board
Exam Performance, and Awards and Citations conferred by the
Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to outstanding schools. These
items of information further assist students in determining which
schools specialize in various programs. This has been made possible
with Schoolguides close coordination with the Federation of
Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines, the Professional Regulation
Commission, and the CHED. |

The regional
editions of Schoolguide Magazine are designed to benefit students as
well as colleges and universities in the provinces. These
publications will
address concerns such as accessibility, competitiveness of colleges
and universities in the provinces, the ills of commercialized education,
and the proliferation of unscrupulous schools in the far-flung areas
targeting the less informed students and parents.
Although all the regional editions will enjoy nationwide
distribution, considerable number of copies will be available to
high school students in the provinces where the featured colleges
and universities are located. |

The Northern Luzon edition will be
largely distributed to students in the
provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Benguet,
Mountain Province, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela,
Quirino, and Nueva Vizcaya.
In the past issues, Colleges and Universities
in Northern Luzon that were featured in Schoolguide were Adelphi

will be carried out in high schools situated in the provinces of Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, and

University of the Assumption, Bataan Peninsula State University,
Central Luzon State University, Fernandez College of Arts and
Technology, Ramon Magsaysay Technological University, and for
students interested to pursue maritime studies, the prestigious

chiefly distributed to high school students in the
provinces of Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Quezon, Palaw an, Mindoro
Occidental, Mindoro Oriental, Romblon, and Marinduque.

feature Malayan Colleges, Lyceum of Batangas, the NYK-TDG Maritime

compiled for the soon-to-be-released PATHS Magazine.
PATHS
Magazine underscores information about approximately 163 college
programs with 481 course variants. For each course, the magazine
tackles program description, skills required to study the program,
misconceptions about the course, career paths, and recommendable
schools for the study of the program.
